Description

This Greek yogurt parfait combines the rich creaminess of Greek yogurt with the natural sweetness of tropical fruits like mango and banana, finished with a golden drizzle of honey. It’s a satisfying and healthy treat that can be enjoyed as a dessert, snack, or quick breakfast. With no berries in sight, this version is perfect for those who prefer milder, smooth fruits in their yogurt dishes.

Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat for best texture)

tablespoon raw honey (adjust to taste)

½ ripe mango, peeled and diced

1 small ripe banana, sliced

¼ cup chopped almonds or crushed walnuts (optional)

Pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. In two serving glasses or jars, spoon in half of the Greek yogurt.

  2. Add a layer of mango and banana.

  3. Drizzle with half the honey.

  4. Repeat with the remaining yogurt and fruit.

  5. Top with chopped nuts and a light sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg.

  6. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes for a firmer, dessert-like texture.

Notes

For a vegan option, use plant-based Greek-style yogurt and maple syrup.

You can swap mango for chopped peach, nectarine, or pear depending on the season.

Add a dash of vanilla extract for extra flavor depth.

This parfait stores well for up to 2 days in the fridge (nuts should be added fresh to maintain crunch).
