Description

This easy, no-cook dessert is both indulgent and nutritious. With a creamy texture and rich cocoa flavor, it’s the ultimate make-ahead sweet snack that fits almost any diet.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons cacao powder

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

¼ cup chia seeds

Optional Toppings:

Fresh raspberries or fruit of choice

Shaved dark chocolate

Coconut whipped cream

Chopped nuts or seeds

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cacao powder, maple syrup, vanilla, milk, and chia seeds until fully combined.

  2. Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes to allow the chia seeds to begin gelling. Whisk once more.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) until thick and pudding-like.

  4. Stir again before serving, then divide into bowls or jars. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
