Description

A glass jar of chocolate avocado mousse topped with raspberries and chocolate shavings.

Ingredients

Scale

flesh of 2 ripe avocados (240g)

1/4 cup regular cocoa powder

1/4 cup dutch cocoa OR melted chocolate chips

34 tbsp milk of choice

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/8 tsp salt

sweetener of choice to taste (I like 1/4 cup pure maple syrup)

Instructions

ou’ve got two delicious options for this recipe:
Using melted chocolate chips will give you a richer, more decadent mousse, while Dutch-processed cocoa creates a version that’s lighter in fat and lower in sugar. Either way, the process is simple—just combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth.

I used 3 tablespoons of almond milk, but if you opt for a dry sweetener instead of something liquid like maple syrup, you may need to add a bit more milk for the perfect creamy consistency.
